Privacy policy
This policy explains how Continuum Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 40 667 472 826) handles personal information. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Continuum Labs Pty Ltd. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service and talk to you. That includes:
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, work email, organisation and role.
- Account details, such as your sign-in email, account settings and the names you give your keys and workspaces.
- Billing details, such as invoices, payments and credit. Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Usage records for each request to our API: the time, the model, the number of tokens, the cost, and any labels you choose to attach, such as a workflow name or tags.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which our hosting and security providers record.
- Anything you send us by email or through our contact form.
We usually collect this information from you directly. You can browse the website without telling us who you are.
What we do not keep
We do not store the content you send to AI models through our API, or the answers they return. That content passes through our systems to produce the answer and is then discarded. We never use it to train models.
Labels you attach to requests are stored as part of your usage records. Please do not put personal information in them.
How we use it
- To provide, run and support the service.
- To set up and manage your account, keys and spending limits.
- To bill you and keep financial records.
- To reply to enquiries and send service messages, such as sign-in links and spending alerts.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent fraud and misuse.
- To improve the website and the service, using usage records rather than the content of your requests.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Marketing
We send news and product updates only to people who have agreed to receive them. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time. Service messages about your account are not marketing, and we will keep sending those while your account is open.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose. They include:
- Website and application hosting.
- Our account and billing database.
- Email delivery.
- Payment processing.
- Network security and content delivery.
- Our own email and office software.
We may also share information with our professional advisers, or where the law requires it. If we ever sell or restructure the business, personal information may pass to the new owner under this policy.
Information sent overseas
Our application and database run in Sydney. Some of our providers are based overseas, mainly in the United States, and may store or access information outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect personal information. A current list of our providers is available on request.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to sign you in and keep the site working. We do not use advertising cookies. Some settings, such as an API key you paste into the documentation to fill in examples, are kept only in your own browser and are never sent to us.
Keeping it secure
We protect personal information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. API keys are stored only in scrambled form, so we cannot read them back. Only people who need access to do their jobs have it.
If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
How long we keep it
We keep account and usage records while your account is open, and financial records for as long as tax law requires, generally five years. After that we delete or de-identify them. You can ask us to close your account and delete your information at any time, subject to those legal requirements.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@continuumlabs.ai. We will respond within 30 days and will not charge you for making a request.
If you have a complaint about how we have handled your information, email us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
